Tigers win 54-14.
The first quarter started sluggish. By half, the Tigers put the game beyond doubt up 42-7. I think everyone got to play in the fourth. The Tigers took a couple knees inside the Seven Lakes 10 yard line late and then ran an fullback dive on 4th and long to avoid breaking 60.

I heard the stats have us over 400 yards rushing. I was saying we had to be over 350 after the game, and it looks like that’s been confirmed. This was as good of a running performance as I’ve seen from a Katy team in a long time.

Sam Holl was a stud today. Yes, Herschfelder made that incredible stop that no doubt still has his ears ringing. Yes, the Tiger special teams blocked a punt and forced several turnovers to keep us dominating. And yes, the Tiger defense has been strong since the first game. But again, Sam Holl is a stud.
