The Tigers pulled away from Houston Bellaire in a 41-6 Bi-District win at Rhodes Stadium. Katy responded to a sluggish first half, leading just 13-6 at the break, with a dominant second half. Katy outscored Bellaire 28-0 in the second half.
| Team | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Final |

Katy ran into something it hasn't seen much of since the opening weeks of the season- hard hitting defense. Bellaire loaded the box and tackled very well. While Katy's offense was getting into the game, the Tiger defense shut down the Cardinal offense. Bellaire's only score came on a 4th-and-long pass.
Bellaire only forced one Katy punt despite allowing just 13 first half points. Katy finished drives in the second half to put the result beyond any doubt. The Tigers ended the game with over 400 total yards while holding Bellaire under 150.
Running backs Donovonn Young and Adam Taylor each gained over 100 rushing yards for the sixth game in a row. Young's record touchdown tally is up to 30 scores for the season. Junior quarterback Brooks Haack connected on two explosive touchdown strikes to receivers Chris Bethley and Jordan Thompson. The Tigers hadn't managed more than one explosive scoring pass in a game all year until Bellaire.
Katy's playoff journey continues next Saturday (11/20, 1 pm) against Cy Fair (8-2) at the Berry Center. It will be the first meeting between the two schools since 1993. The overall series is tied at 10-10-1.
