One week after becoming the first Katy team to rush for over 500 yards in a game, the 2010 Tigers were in a record breaking mood again in a 61-10 bombardment of Mayde Creek.
| Team | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Final |
| Katy | 13 | 14 | 20 | 14 | 61 |
| Mayde Creek | 0 | 3 | 0 | 7 | 10 |
The 61 points scored against the Rams put Katy over the 60 mark for a program record third time already this season. The undefeated 2007 state champions became the first Katy team to score over 60 twice in a season. The 1943, 1958, 1959, 1995 and 2000 teams are the others to score at least 60 points in a game.
The Tigers built a 27-3 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the huge win. Katy totaled the 27 first half points despite only running 14 plays. Four touchdowns resulted from the 14 offensive plays. Remarkably, Katy piled up the points without the benefit of any Ram turnovers or big special teams plays.
Katy's running game was in top form again with a total of 400 yards on 33 carries. Junior QB Brooks Haack and the Tiger passing game added 112 yards on 6-7 accuracy. While the Tigers lost two fumbles in the game, the overall performance was highly efficient. Katy averaged 1.5 points per play.
Katy takes on Memorial at Rhodes Stadium next Saturday (10/23, 6 pm) in its next 19-5A encounter.
